The Marvels OverPower expansion is an unreleased set.

From information gathered around the Internet, the Marvels expansion would include 275-300 cards with about 1/3 of them being new cards.

Jack has estimated the number of cards to be 304 with:

  • 8: Levels 1 to 8 Energy
  • 8: Levels 1 to 8 Fighting
  • 8: Levels 1 to 8 Strength
  • 8: Levels 1 to 8 Intellect
  • 5: Levels 1 to 5 Multipower
  • 4: Levels 5 to 8 Any-Power
• 25 Character Cards
  • 2: Angel and Wasp
  • 18: 1 for each reprinted character (only in Starter Decks)
  • 2: Galactus (4-stat) and Beyonder (reprinted, proper Inherent Ability)
  • 3: Crystal, Black King, Team X (reprinted, playing card stock)
• 148 Special Cards
  • 90 new Special cards
    • 8: 4 each for Angel and Wasp
    • 18: 1 each for reprinted Characters
    • 64: 1 each for non-reprinted characters

Legality

The legality of the Marvels OverPower expansion varies. Some groups prefer to play OverPower with the official printed cards and do not consider the Marvels to be legal. Other groups like the new variety of special cards, especially the ones that make characters more useful.
