When played, follow the directions detailed on the card to do either: flip the top card of the Draw Pile or have the opponent draw a card from your hand. If it is an attack, the character can make the attack immediately regardless of if the character could normally use the attack card (i.e. another character's Special or a normally unusable Power card). If it is not an attack, discard the card to the Dead Pile. The other conditions of the card must be met. For example, if a Teamwork card, Tactic card, or Ally card is drawn, the additional mandatory follow up attacks must be made by a different frontline character or the card must be discarded.
Meta Rules
Meta #78 If a Draw Pile runs out of cards during a battle in which more cards from the top of the Draw Pile are needed to perform an action, then the Power Pack is immediately shuffled and becomes the new Draw Pile. If there are no more Power cards remaining in the Power Pack, then the player must continue with as many cards as he/she has.
Meta #140 If a Special allows for a card to be drawn "blind" and it qualifies as something that can be used to attack, then it can only be used to attack if any required follow-ups can be made.
Meta #150 Specials which target a Character must be played against a character - they may not be played against a Special or a Battlesite.
