July 2, 2000 - I finally took the time to update and upload all the ratings information I have.
February 24, 2000 - I included the code IA to my Guide to Playing Marvels Specials.
February 23, 2000 - I included the code NG to my Guide to Playing Marvels Specials.
February 22, 2000 - I finally added my Guide to Playing Marvels Specials. The links to each code are included in the Marvels Checklist.
December 29, 1999 - I posted a first draft of house rules that we could use to keep the game interesting.
December 16, 1999 - I posted a very rough list for the never produced DC3 set.
December 6, 1999 - I posted the Marvels checklist.
December 3, 1999 - I posted an important announcement on Ty's Message Board, and I also have a copy of it here.
October 31, 1999 - I added a brief FAQ about the OP CUP.
October 4, 1999 - I just got back from the OP CUP in Columbus and put up my report on the weekend. I also changed my OP CUP poll page.
August 6, 1999 - Earlier this week I put up my report on the OP CUP from this past weekend. MegaPower has finally gone on sale at overpower.com. I recently received an email from someone at thewarp.net who said my site was "pretty kewl. :-)" They have a list of links to gaming sites and while they have a small CCG section there are no OverPower sites listed. Since this web site is dedicated to beginners to OverPower I thought I would apply to have it linked.
July 26, 1999 - I put up my report on the NY Regional and some information about the OP CUP tournament this weekend.
July 10, 1999 - It looks to be pretty definite that I will be going to the New York Regional on July 24 and I will be at the OP CUP in Cincinnati on July 31 and August 1.
July 3-8, 1999 - Well, this isn't exactly
news anymore, but if you haven't heard yet, it has been posted on overpower.com
that Nationals in San Diego is officially canceled. The Regionals
in Seattle and Canada are still on thanks to a few die hard players in
those areas. Some of the Regionals have been given specific dates
and start times, so for the most part they look like they are still happening.
This past weekend was Drew's latest tournament and
it had a pretty good turnout, for a tournament held in a city without a
single traffic signal that is :) He had 10 people
attend and the day went pretty fast. We did not get to start until
around 2 pm but still managed to hold 4 rounds of swiss and 2 rounds of
single elimination to end before 6 or 6:30 (I am not sure about the time
it ended, but some of the rounds seemed like they lasted for an hour to
me. Maybe that was just because I didn't play).
June 22, 1999 - I am planning on attending Drew's tournament in West Virginia on Saturday, June 26th. I probably will not be there for the whole day, but I should be able to show up before the end of the first or second round. From what I hear there will be a decent crowd with Gary and his crew along with Steve Davis and some "fresh blood" this time.
May 22, 1999 - There is no news just yet.
What did you expect? I just put the page up, give me some time.
Seriously, as soon as I hear any news about OverPower I will post it here.
So far, I am planning on attending the New York regional which is sometime
in the future(?). If you want to stop by and let me know if you learned
anything from this site or just chat in general, I will be one of the judges
at the regional.
