Installing OverPowerOnline on Windows Vista/Windows 7 is more complicated than installing it on Windows XP.
- Download OverPowerOnline from here
- Double-click "OverPowerOnline_v2.5.3.exe" to extract it, it doesn't matter where you extract it to.
- If will probably say the program wasn't installed properly. Ignore it by saying it was installed properly.
- Open the folder where you extracted it to, there should be a OverPowerOnline_v2.5.3 folder.
- Double-click "System32 Package.exe" to extract the needed DLL files to run it.
- To run OpDeck:
- For Windows Vista, your only option is to Right Click and Run as Administrator.
- For Windows 7, you can either Right Click and Run as Administrator or set compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- Right Click, Properties, Compatibility, Compatibility mode, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- Apparently, you only need to do the above steps once. Windows should remember the settings after it loads.
- Now you can double-click "OpDeck.exe" to load the deck-builder application.
- To run OpOnline:
- For Windows Vista, your only option is to Right Click and Run as Administrator.
- For Windows 7, you can either Right Click and Run as Administrator or set compatibility mode to Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- Right Click, Properties, Compatibility, Compatibility mode, check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
- Apparently, you only need to do the above steps once. Windows should remember the settings after it loads.
- Now you can double-click "OpOnline.exe" to load the game client. Make sure to go to Tools > Settings and set the User Name/ID to something other than Leon.
