.png 134b.png Theo Stern 20 years ago my Brother and I set out to create a collectible card game that would recreate the gritty feel of superheroes battling on a city street. It was a wild ride and I am pleased it's still appreciated.
.png 135b.png Michael Stern It was a challenge to create a game where Black Widow or Nick Fury might be able to take on Thor or Magneto without the fight being over in a nanosecond. It forced me to look more deeply into what made each hero unique and powerful in their own way.
.png 136b.png Ron Perazza At first, OverPower might seem like a simple fighting game. In a way that’s true. But at its core OverPower is much more; it’s problem solving, competition, storytelling, and friendship. Camaraderie never gets old.
.png 137b.png Keith Bursack I hope I have given back to this game and community as much as it has given to me. It remains the best representation of the superhero experience because it has endured in the hearts and minds of so many great, dedicated fans.
.png 138b.png Michael Sutton For me it was having the absolute best, and off-the-wall fans. It became a community like no other. Only with OverPower could you end up singing and waving the Star Spangled Banner when losing the annual CAN-AM. Both my kids remember on the road to comic shops and cons as the happiest time of their lives. OverPower lives!
.png 139b.png Sean Ballantyne OverPower is really the only card game that ever caught my interest. There are so many dynamics to it, that even 20 years later new strategies are being discovered and implemented. The game endures, and I hope one day Marvel will realize what they let go of, and give it new life.
.png 140b.png Jack Truong When I look back at everything I've accomplished in life, it all points back to one card I had wanted as a child: Web-Headed Wizard. It helped figure out what to do in life. If it wasn't for my admiration for that card, I don't know if our community will be celebrating 20 years of this wonderful game.
