The Justice League OverPower expansion debuted in February 1997 with 197 cards (20 Character Cards, 134 Special Cards, 7 Mission Cards, 1 Power card, 6 Event Cards, 15 Ally Cards, 14 Doubleshot Cards).
Distribution
Cards were distributed in:
- Booster packs of 15 cards
- Booster boxes of thirty-six 15 card booster packs
New Special Card codes
With the Justice League OverPower release, the following Special Card codes were introduced: JA JB JC JD JE JF JG JH JI JJ JK JL JM JN
New card types
Doubleshot Cards were introduced.
