I built the first version of this deck in the Spring of 1997 and casually modified it over the next year or so, each time removing cards that did not live up to my expectations and keeping the ones that did.  This deck went through many different styles.  I think I became so attached to this deck because I spent so much time working with this deck fine tuning it to a well oiled machine.  To me, this deck works very well and I have no plans to take this deck apart.  I won the last tournament I was able to compete in with this deck, losing only 1 game that day.  For people just starting out I recommend that you build one deck you like and stick with it.  You should feel free to make minor modifications, even change a character or two if you find some who do not work well, but leave the essence of the deck intact.  I think it would only hurt a new player to change decks frequently.
