X-Men - boosters only
Released in early Winter of 1999

This is the last set that has been published so far, and I will warn you that it has it's share of "inconsistencies."  First, all of these cards were printed slightly larger than every other OverPower card released in an expansion set.  It makes little difference if you use sleeves, but without them it is very noticeable.  Next, the card stock is slightly different as well.  You can feel the difference, but I don't know if it makes that much of an impact on game play.  Lastly, this set has some artwork that is called "pick-up" art.  In a nutshell this is artwork that was previously published, most likely in a comic book somewhere, and was scanned for use on the card.  To be blunt, some of this art is complete rubbish.  Not all of the artwork is pick-up art though, only some of it.  All of the new characters and their Specials have all new art.
On the plus side, this set probably has more than it's fair share of usable characters.  I would say that there is a greater number of usable characters in this set than in any other expansion, except for Monumental and IQ.

Basic card totals for this set:

Pros
Cons
Introduced Aspect cards
Too many of these Homebases are not playable because of the character list
Lots of variant characters

Good variety of new specials
