GDMJR's OVERPOWER CHECKLISTS

(Scans of hard-to-get OverPower cards and collectibles.)

THE
C O M P R E H E N S I V E :

Some may know that I am the self-elected Keeper of the Comprehensive Checklist of Everything OverPower. I didn't start it; the original version was created by Weylan Wang, so even though I made slight changes in the format I should thank him here. But ever since PowerSurge, with assistance from many other dedicated and in-the-know netters I have kept it consistently updated for myself on my computer. I am proudest that my main contribution to the proliferation of OP stuff on the web is The Comprehensive OverPower Checklist.

Downloading & printing this is not for the faint of heart but I recommend you do it. Once you get a hard copy, you can use it as a deck building tool or a collection inventory. The first section provides quick references to all the Heroes available with their totals; I look all this over when trying to decide if a new team I want to make will be tourney legal. After that first section you get a short, precise count of what kinds of cards have been made and released to us, the general collecting public. Then comes the whopper; a complete description of every card & collectible, each with an asterisk before which I write (in pencil so I can update it every time I get a new booster pack or what-not) the quantity of it I own. Finally, clear at the end, is a key to reference the meanings of most of the codes sprinkled throughout the checklist. Pshew!!

Also on the Comprehensive (and all the following lists) there is a Version Number at the top left hand corner. This number will increment as I upload more corrected versions to this site, so that you can check quickly to find out if you have the most recent copy. Mistakes are inevitable but eventually surface and get corrected so you really need to keep checking in; if you copy any lists over to your own web site (why not just link here?) make sure to come get updated versions whenever possible. I don't mind them going other places at all, but it does irk me a little when I see such old copies lingering around.

A note about RARITIES: I used Fleer/Skybox's official expansion lists (with the exceptions of Image and X-Men, which I estimated myself) to attach a rarity code to all the cards possible. What you need to keep in mind is that a card's rarity level designation is only relative to it's own expansion or source of release. For example, the original Doppelganger Hero card is listed as a {C} for Common because anyone who was able to buy Hillshire Farm Lunch 'n Munches could get it easily. However most collectors weren't able to find these in their grocery stores and might consider the card (and others from that set) to be rarer than that. It's all relative and my list is by no means any kind of guarantee, just a useful guide.

So take it, enjoy it, print it out, pass it around, post it elsewhere on the 'net, leave copies at your local comic shop...spread the love! of OverPower, that is! And please, if you notice an error, addition, or any suggestions/questions, don't hesitate to e-mail me about it.

O T H E R C H E C K L I S T S :

If you just need a listing of one particular expansion or just all the extra OP goodies that collectors are going nuts chasing after, you've come to the right place. Check back on the release dates of new expansions, this is where you'll find the first Comprehensive Checklist each and every time. Brand new checklists which are still being proofread will start their Version Number at P1 and become V1 when they are finalized.
