Clarifications:

This card affects the opponent, not the character playing it. Therefore, it can only be played offensively, and not defensively, as it has been played in the past.

The non-OPD version of this card lasts for the duration of the battle, until it is negated, until the charcter is KO'd or until the character cannot be attacked, not for the duration of the game. The OPD version of this card lasts for the duration of the game, until it is negated, until the character is KO'd or until the character cannot be attacked.

'Cannot be attacked' is defined as when the opponent is no longer able to attack the character. If the character has a BJ special played on him ("[Character] may not be attacked for remainder of Battle"), the character cannot be attacked, so the KC special is discarded and the opponent is free to attack the other characters. If the character has a CD special played on him, ("Only [card type] Cards may be used to attack [Character] for remainder of Battle.") and the opponent has no usable cards of that type placed or in hand, the character is still considered to be unable to be attacked, therefore the KC is discarded and the opponent is free to attack the character's teammates. In either of these examples, once the KC is discarded, if the BJ/CD special is negated, the KC does not return to play, and the character does not regain the defense bonus granted by an Inherent Ability or by the KC itself.
